The document app gives you and your colleagues the opportunity to share documents. You can add documents only for the staff to see. Documents added here can not be viewed by parents. The ability to easily refer back to internal documents, for instance course summaries or excursion schedules, is beneficial for staff members.

Where to find it?

When signed in to Famly, click ‘Apps’ in the menu on the left. Then select ‘Documents’.

In the app, the icons at the top provide you with two options:

  • Add a folder (green circle)
  • Add a new document (red circle)

Adding a folder

  • Press the folder button in the right corner (green circle)
  • The window below opens 
  • Fill in the title of the folder you want to create
  • Finish off by clicking on ‘Add Folder
  • Now a folder will be visible in the overview

Adding a document

  • Press the document button in the right corner (red circle)
  • The window below opens 
  • Fill in the title of the document you want to upload and add a description if desired
  • Press the button ‘Choose file’ and select the document you want to upload. You can upload Word and PDF-files. 
  • Now a document is added to the overview
  • If you want to move a document to an existing folder, hover over your document of choice. A small folder with an arrow on it will appear, click here and chose a destination folder.
  • You also have the option to delete a document by pressing the garbage bin icon. 

Tip
Although "Documents" can be accessed from both computer, iPad/tablet and smartphone, we recommend using a computer to upload new documents into the app.
