You can see the entire staff's working hours in Famly. The staff's sign-in and out times as well as registrations of sick days, children ill or holiday days constitute the overview of working hours.

Where to find it?

Click on ‘Apps’ in the menu on the left and select the ‘Staff hours’ app:

How do I get an overview?

When you enter the app, you see an overview of all the employees. The employees are registered within their area of responsibility e.g. a class, the kitchen or as substitute. You can choose, whether you want a weekly or monthly overview simply by clicking either ‘Week’ or ‘Month’ in the upper left corner. 

If you choose to get a weekly overview, you will see the total amount of working hours for the last month (five weeks). If you want to look further back, you can get a monthly overview. The last three months are shown no matter what month you choose. You will always be able to see the three previous months of the selected month. 

How do I get the details on a staff member?

You can get a more detailed picture of each employee's working hours by clicking the time registration next to an employee. 

Weekly
After selecting ‘Week’ in the upper left corner, you can click on the employee's total amount of working hours next to the week, you would like to see the time registrations for. A detailed overview of the employee's working hours distributed throughout the week will be shown:

Monthly
After selecting ‘Month’ in the upper left corner, you can click on the employee's total working hours next to the month, you would like to see the time registrations for. A detailed overview of the employee's working distributed on each day of the month will be displayed:

Edit or add registrations 

It is possible to correct the current registrations. 

If a star (*) is present next to the total amount of working hours, it means that the employee has forgotten to sign out. Subsequently, you can edit the amount of hours, if the expected sign out time the employee has registered does not match the actual working hours. 

If no working hours are registered, but just says ‘+ Add’, it means that no working hours or status, such as sick or on vacation, have been registered.

To edit registrations, do as follows:

  • Click on the registration you want to edit 
  • Whether it's a missing registration or a current registration that needs to be edited, a window will pop up.
  • If there is already a time registration, you can choose either to edit or remove the current registration.

If there is already a status registration i.e. if either a holiday day, a sick day or a child sick day is registered, you can choose to remove it.

Do you want to add a registration to a day that has not been registered yet, press ‘+ Add’ and a similar window will appear:

No matter if there has been a registration on the given day or not, you can choose to add a registration. You can either add Sign-in/out time, a Sick day, a Holiday Day or a Child sick.
