Famly uses notifications for highlighting specific actions happening in your platform in order to keep you up to date.
Where to Find Notifications?
The notifications are symbolised with a 'globe' in the upper right corner next to the message icon. Notifications are generated, for example, when children have been reported sick or on holiday or a new post has been made.
A new notification is indicated by a red dot with a number that reveals the amount of new notifications.
How Do I See The Notifications?
You can click on the globe icon and see a list of the latest notifications. If a notification has a blue dot next to it, you have not read it yet. A notification is marked as read, when you click on it, which will make the blue dot disappear.
Control Which Notifications You Receive
In your personal settings, you are able to control which notifications you want to receive and how you want to receive them.
- Click your name in the top right corner when signed in to Famly
- Select Your Settings
- Click the Notifications & Language tab
Push is a notification on your phone like when you receive a text
Email is, of course, an email to the account you use for logging in to Famly
In Famly is a notification in the globe in the top bar in Famly
